Why is America better than the rest of world? Liberals have ruined the rest of the world?
"Have you ever asked yourself how a country 250 years old runs rings in virtually every way you can imagine around countries that have been around thousands of years? How is it we are the world's lone superpower? How is it that we come to feed the world? How is it that we, Americans, the United States of America, is the economic engine, the technological engine of this world? How is that possible? We're no different. We came out of the womb as human beings just as everybody else around the world did, those of you lucky enough to make it out of the womb, what's the difference? How can this be?

Okay, now factor in a nearly nine-trillion dollar deficit, coupled with the fact that China is becoming an eminent super-power.

By the way, here are definitions of the term "Liberal."

1. favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.

2. favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, esp. as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.

3. of or pertaining to representational forms of government rather than aristocracies and monarchies.

4. free from prejudice or bigotry; tolerant: "a liberal attitude toward foreigners. "

5. not strict or rigorous

6. of, pertaining to, or befitting a freeman.

As far as I'm concerned, we "liberals" are absolutely fine, advocating peace and progress in a world plagued by prejudice and demagoguery.

It's really very simple.
Here in the states, you are free to be as big or as small as you want to be.
Work hard, study, get to be the best you can.
Nobody holds you back.
Lay on your as*,drop out of school, you can do that too. Social programs will feed you, house you, give you some pocket money, but you'll always be a BUM, A loser.
99.9 % of us don't want to be BUMS, so we work and study and make something of ourselves.
Nobody holds us back except some damned dumb politicians, who dream of a socialist state.
A state where the mediocre , the bums and the hard working all have the same.
Of course the politicians would, being the ruling class have much ,much more.
Kind of a feudalistic state, nobles and peasants.
But,we haven't let that happen,so we just keep rolling along.
We never set out to be a world power, other nations kind of forced it on us with their problems.
They haven't stopped bytching since.
In most of the world the farmers son stays a farmer.
Here he can be a lawyer,a doctor,or a bum.
Now,we hear a lot about CEO's pay,how they make too much.
They produce things and make money for investors and their pay is voted on.
Ballplayers of all types make big bucks, like CEO's,so do movie stars.
Yet,I don't hear all the complaining about their wages.
The most overpaid SOB's in the country are politicians.
Think about it.

The free enterprise system is a success because does not put road blocks in the way of individual entrepreneurship. The US system allows people, regardless of education, background, or title to succeed or fail. It is a system with a lot of risk but that is the key to success. Socialism tries to make everything fair which places road blocks in the way of individual ambition. Socialism supplants ambition with conformity.
The United States is not a result of magic. Everything the USA possesses is also possessed by the rest of the world. The advantage is the US system allows people to succeed or fail by their own hard work, initiative, effort and risk. It is not by any means a paradise. As I stated there is much risk. But it does allow people to come to this country with only pennies in their pockets to be millionaires!

Capitalism, in the United States is also one of the major reasons why you have people who are homeless, and living in the streets is also one of the big reasons why a majority of people are losing their jobs because of corporate greed which capitalism produces is also the reason why a large majority of people in the united states are not getting good health care and is also one of the reasons why a lot of people especially children are going to bed hungry every night , its also the reason why a majority of the people in the United States are not getting a good decent education because this country treats education and housing and health care as a commodity and not as a necessities and is all because of the philosophy that capitalism creates which is profits before people.

Individualism. That is why America will never be conquered like the rest of the countries of the world. We have the capabilities of thinking on our own. An invading force would have so many fronts to fight they would have no way to take over wiythout killing us all.

Well maybe not all of us. The cowardly Liberals would lay down and give up and the media would turn in all the rebels so to act nuetral.

And those numbers would be much higher for the US and with greater difference between 1st and 2nd place if the Liberals had not destroyed the Steel, Automobile Textile, Timber, Gasoline Refinery, and Family Farm industries.

On a positive note, look at all the lazy union workers they have put out of work in this country.

LMAO

The great powers of the 19th century wearing themselves out with two World Wars - and getting The Bomb first - didn't exactly hurt, either.

No, (not that i'm against capitalism) but many poverty stricken countries are capitalist as well... in general more of the world is capitalist so it'd make sense...

I would say so yes. The pursuit of happiness is good. That means we can be anything we want to be and if we aren't we have ourselves to blame. Also our freedoms are great. Where else can you carry a gun and talk smack about the chimp in office?
