They say it takes about two weeks of regular routine to be able to adjust - regular meaning that you (try to) go to sleep at the same time.

Midnights can be the hardest - everything else in the world happens while you sleep, and your body is hard-wired to come awake when the sun is out

Some people just can't do shift work - there are "morning people" and "night owls". Personally, I have no problems working at night - but it is nearly impossible to get me up at 5:30 in the morning in order to do days...

well my hubby works graveyard for about 3 months now and he is still getting used to it.. takes alot out of your body
