My phone... It means it's 5:15 or 5:30 in the morning and my boyfriend calls to wake me to take medication. Then I got back to sleep and when I wake up again, I see either my wall or my beside table that has a stereo, meds, my cell phone (which has my alarm clock), and my Palm Pilot.

The tv; because I put an eight hour dvd on when I go to bed, and, when I wake up, if it isn't finished, I don't have to get up yet.

depends on which position I wake up in
but it's always funny when I wake up and the 1st thing I see is my cockatiel jack whisker staring right at me (with one eye mind you) waiting for me to wake up so that he can start singing away...he's trained to not make noise while I'm asleep, he's too loud!

i feel like kip in napoleon dynamite when he drives over the tupperware ... "dang it!" cause i've noticed the clock and i'm late getting up for work again ... i don't use the alarm. it irritates me. i don't need to be irritated first thing in the morning.

The clock. Usually can't focus enough to read it, but I get a rough idea of what time it is.

It's usually dark when I wake up so I don't really see anything.
