need help i can not get my singal lights to work on my 1986 honda rebel

The simple answer -
Check the turn signal fuse.
Check the bulbs.
They light but don't blink -
The flasher relay may be bad.

Maybe your signal switch is bad. The switch on my 86 Honda Magna will not work from time to time. I usually spray it out with plastic safe contact cleaner, and then spray a little electronics lube on it. Tuner wash can also be used, as it leaves a little film behind as lube.
