i already use jet dry, have been for 6+ months.

i already use jet dry, as for the koolaid, what does that say about the chemicals in it??????????????????

Jet-Dry, makes a special dishwasher cleaner..Just poor it in and run through the cycle, in an empty dishwasher.

To freshen and clean my dishwasher I use unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix... Run an empty cycle.. It doesn't stain and it smells nice and fresh... It also removes the gunk inside the dishwasher. Oh and it's cheaper than Jet-dry

I know the cleaning washing machines twice a year, they tell you to put a quart of white vinegar in it and let it run the full cycle, of course with no clothes in it, this will take of the residue that has been building up all year. So if it works for the washing machine, Why not the Dish washer, I would put 2 cups of white vinegar and let it run the full cycle.

Vinegar will help with the water build up I do it in my dishwasher all the time. I use Apple Cider vinegar all the time when cleaning.

Tang drink mix. Just put 1/3 cup tang drink mix into the dish washer and run it without dishes in it. Will take care of the rusty looking spots left by hard water deposits.

Try putting a cup of vinegar in there when there are no dishes, and run a full cycle. Just pour it in the bottom.
