Sure. Will that translate into the Raiders becoming more of a powerhouse? No. Who said Lane Kiffin is NFL ready? Who said their salary cap could accomodate all the fixins that would have to be brought in?

Just because USC had some talent doesn't mean every other school is talent free either.

There's no way they would be able to sign more than a couple of those guys. The cap room just isn't there and I think a good number of those guys would be looking more for the team that gives them the best oppurtunity to win, not the team with their old coach on it. Oh, and Lane Kiffin is going to stink out loud as a head coach in the NFL. I give him 3 years tops before he's back running an offense and coaching QBs at the college level.

No. That franchise won't succeed until Al Davis realizes he knows virtually nothing about how to put together a decent football team, and backs off. Similar to the problems in Washington, and Dallas.
