It is intended to be self-censored by the members of the community -- that is why we have the "Report Abuse" button. Unfortunately, some people abuse that option and other times it doesn't get used enough.

Good question! Well, I personally don't know the answer... but I think that they probably censor words posted.... but the topics and answers as a whole probably aren't censored. Soooo.... yeah.

Censorship exists because people abuse all services. If people were more respectful of others, there would be no need to censor.

Every major website censors. it's a fact. Digg, myspace, yahoo, msnbc, cnn etc.

I'm starting to think they need to work on that. Especially right now since a sick fellow keeps posting nasty comments using the identity of a dead guy.

I put up a question...."what is one thing you would NEVER hear a redneck say?" Got 38 answers, and it was removed two days layer for insulting other participants.....

So, you gotta ask yourself, does a true redneck get that offended, or does he even know he IS a redneck?

The moderators are either stupid, bored or rednecks.

I'm sure they do in a way. There is a "report abuse" link in all the questions so they probably wait for people to complain.
