Try a small bottle of fuel additive. Like fuel injector cleaner. It may need a tune-up.

Not knowing how old your gas was (is) start by using up as much old stuff before adding more good. when you do add good new gas add some injector cleaner, if that dose not work it may be that your idle is set too low. I know it's hard to keep your foot a little bit on the gas while stopping but it is a cheep screwdriver type fix if it is just the idle set too low.
good luck.

The gas pump/spark plugs might be the problem but also insufficient gas getting thru so also check the fuel filter..

If you are certain that the oil level is OK, it is most likely one of these two items. Most GM cars have a sensor in the oil pan that monitors the oil level in the pan. This sensor may be failing The second possibility is that the oil pressure sending unit is failing. It is very unlikely that it has anything to do with your worn brake pads. Just a coincidence.

Jon L will steer you wrong.

Start with fresh gas, NOT super, Super actually resists ignition more than regular...good article on this. below

Change the fuel filter too.

water in gas, get gas dry or gas treatment and at least clean your existing plugs and check the gap on each one, only 4 or 6 plugs....do them one at a time and replace one and plug back up before removing another one....it makes it easier that way...and you don't get mixed up as to which plug wire goes to what spark plug... hope this helps

CHECK THE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES , IF THEY LOOK OLD THEY COULD NEED REPLACING , FILL YOUR TANK WITH PREMIUM GAS AND RUN IT ALL OUT , SPRAY A CAN OF CARB CLEANER THROUGH THE CARB , COULD BE ALOT OF THINGS WITH OUT HEARING IT RUN , AIR FILTER PLUGGED , EGR VALVE , VACUUM LEAK
