Fave? I dunno - but there's a place my wife & I enjoy going to now & then. It is an old theatre in a small town, the fancy kind that was once an opera house in the early 1900s, which then sat vacant and decaying for a long time. Then it became a movie theatre, had its day, closed, and again sat decaying for a long time. Now a friendly local family has bought it, cleaned it up & opened it again - mom, pop & the kids run it. So far, only a few people go there, but the number of customers is increasing. They show first-run movies at about half the usual price, and their concession stand prices are also cheap. The old place looks great, something from another era entirely, lovingly restored.

I know it's strange, but I like to go to 'open houses'. It's strange because we just bought a new house a few months back, and we have no plans on moving anytime soon. But I love going to look at houses.
