Hey i am interested in buying a sony psp but wanted to know if there recomended and what there like and stuff. the mane reason for me buying one is so i can use it for traveling and mostly internet use and listening to music and stuff like that so let me know what you think of them and advantages and dis advantages in them. and please also let me know if i can use aol's aim on it and if theres any charges. thanks

If you are going to be neaer a Wifi connection it should be a great buy for travel. You can also download stuff for when you are not online.

If you're just going to use it for internet and music then $160.00 isn't all that bad. I'm not sure if you could use AIM on the PSP but It's pretty slow when it comes to going on websites. A big disadvantage is that the game selection isn't all that great. One advantage is that you can buy UMD movies for PSP to watch wherever you go but I did hear that they might stop producing them. I bought a PSP(full price) just for gaming and I kinda feel like it wasn't the best decision. It would've probably been a better idea to wait until the prices dropped so my opinion would be to buy one. : ]

psp's are great. good for downloading videos. i can give you a website which converts youtube videos into psp's compatible format if you want. it also plays MP3 music and display photos. also you can download free game demos from places on line.
only problems with it is it's fragile. i dropped mine not very high and the wifi broke so now i can't go on the Internet. and the pages do take a bit of time to load even if you have good Internet speed

no longer yet yet sony is in the skill of bobbing up a usb-a/v hook up for the psp to attach to your television yet i think you will savour the psp in case you go with to get one. I even have videodownloads of my teenagers birthday events on it, my own track library movies and video games dowloaded on it to boot so the pros far out weigh the cons.
