How can I find a pen pal, and know that they aren't some creepy wierdo? I love to write, and it would be nice to have someone to write to that I don't know (guy or girl, doesn't matter, I just don't want any creeps).
Also, does anyone on here know a Maxine Holden (I think). Around 15-16. Lives (or lived) in Cheney, WA around 6 years back. Brown hair. Same with an Amber Norman or Newman. Something like that. Any help is much appreciated.

This is going to sound weird but try MySpace. I know there are a lots of bizarre predators out there, but after viewing some chats and using you gut instincts, you can find some really good people there. If you're under 18 and nervous, ask your parents what they think. If you have open-minded folks, they may even help you sort out the creeps from the heroes by browsing together.
