Just shuts off, leaves no error message

This open ended question is tough to give a good answer... could be your power supply/processor fan/power supply fan/no air flow/bad part/software setting...you might need a bit more info, like are you using it when it shuts off? is it hot? how old is it?

first to isolate the issue, leave the system in BIOS. If it shuts down while in BIOS, it is definitely a hardware issue. If not, it is definitely software. Check in safe mode, if it shuts down. If it doesn't then it is some application running in background that could be responsible. However if it shuts down in BIOS, then it would be either a hardware failure or a setting on the BIOS that is causing it to shutdown at exactly 1 hour.

could be your proccessor over heating, so make sure that the computer is in a well ventilated space and it may be a good idea to buy some canned air and give th inside a good de dusting, make sure you get in the bit with the large metal grill with the fan over the top, because this would be the main problem try to get every area, if it is you proccessor over heating then if you let this go on you could well find that, you will be saying by by computer, so get it sorted if you are unsure its alwasy best to get a profesional look at it.

Try installing Everest or Speedfan. Monitor the temps. You might have an overheating problem due to inadequate case ventilation.

go to control panel and check your power option settings. should be set to home/desktop, and look at the time settings below and choose appropriate times.
