If it is of quite a good quality, how long this take on average?

a very good typist, 80-100 words per minute could possible do it in 140 minutes.

Normal typists, around the 60wpm mark, would take at least twice as long as the tape, I'd guess.

If you mean copy it to a digital format like MP3 then it will take 140 minutes. With a multispeed player you can do it faster and use something like Audacity to correct the speed later, but quality will be lost.

Well I would say a minimum of 140 minute because you have to listen to the tape.

Audio tape of what??

If it's a blank tape then 140 minutes + the time it takes to write 'Blank'..

If it's Frank Zappa on guitar then it could take months.
