It is highly probable that Jesus was black. There are black jews living in Israel and Ethiopia right now.

I believe we don't know what color he was, and that worrying about it is a sure sign we are being needlessly distracted from his message.
UPDATE:
>To all of you who've answered so far I can prove where it describes Jesus as being black (ACTUAL verse where it is written)
Doubtful, most likely you are referring to verses in Revelation that describe Jesus over 50 years after he'd left his earthly body. My cousin was in a black cult that tried that one.
>If you are so hateful that you can't worship Jesus because he is not White how can you call yourself Christian? At
Are you sure you could worship him if he is not black? What's more important to you, his race or his message?

"One day, I observed in the midst of a group of people a young man who was leaning against a tree, calmly addressing the multitude. I was told that his name was Jesus. This I could easily have suspected, so great was the difference between Him and those who were listening to Him. His golden coloured hair and His beard gave to His appearance a celestial aspect. He appeared to be about thirty years of age. Never have I seen a sweeter or more serene countenance. What a contrast between Him and His hearers with their black beards and tawny complexions..." Pontious Pilate in a letter to Tiberius.
Now I don't care what color Yeshua was...why do you seem to care?
also if you want to go to the talmud then you could look to Isaiah 53:2
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
also King David, an ancestor of Jesus, was described as "ruddy" which in the original language meant red-haired.
but what does it matter except to those with an agenda? He is not corporeal as you and I are.
There is only one race, human, and many colors.

He was from the tribe of Judah (which hailed from Ethiopia - last I heard - Ethiopians aren't white). He was also a Jew (which made Him Mediterianian).
Sorry, but I don't think we was White. (Other than the pictures, I'm not sure where they get that from).
(Like how they say that Esau's hair was "red"???? Come on - I haven't seen any mediterrians' w/ natual red hair).

It don't say what color he is. If you think about it Jesus would be dark because he was born in Jerusalem and Jews are dark skin. hmmm makes you think huh? I am christian and proud of it :)
