Mayonnaise and chips is one of the favorites (or this combi of mayonnaise, raw onions and peanut butter).
The veg , potato and meat combi, that all people above said.
For example: red cabbage with apples, potato's and meatballs. or spinach with Bacon, potato's and some kind of pork.
As well lickerish and sweets.... in the morning you eat bread with butter and a layer of chocolate sprinkle or cheese (cant forget the cheese).
Anything backed with apple, especially Apple pie.
Fresh Herring (Matias fish).
And drink a lot of milk and tea.

I am a dutchperson who've moved to the US. The food I missmost are the 'stampot with rookworst( Hema)', which is mashed potatoes with andives, or carrots and onions.
Besides that I miss licorice, the real ones, not like red vines, which isn't licorice.
The fresh fish and all the good dairy products at reasonable prices.
The Netherlands grows mainly their own produce, have fish in the sea next to them and grow grain to make the best bread on earth, especially fresh from the bakery in the morning which nice young cheese or the very old crumbly one.
At home growing up we would eat, potatoes, veggies and meat and gravy poured over your potatoes. and the good dairies for dessert.
