if i take bus or train from new york city to el paso, texas, how long does it take and how many hours. where to sleep? what's the fare by bus and train? where to eat?

http://www.greyhound.com/home.asp that can tell u how many days and how much on a bus. and u would sleep on the bus, eat anywhere they stop. can be entertaining seeing the sites of the different cities but can be very tiring being on a bus for that long.

It will take about 6-7 hours to get from El Paso to San Antonio if there are no traffic delays.(taking interstate 10 the whole way)

On the seach line put in Greyhound Buses and you can get the cost. I hope you are going to ElPaso for a reason, like visiting family or seeing folks you know. El Paso is a yucky town.
