Scotland's already famous.
I believe she's real.

First, Nessie is not the only thing Scotland is famous for.
Second, Loch Ness IS large enough to "hide" her.
Third, I think it's possible that she exists.
and Fourth,
to address another answer...
Hadrian's Wall was built by the Romans, not the Scots (would have been the Picts, at that time) to keep the raiding Picts out, and to mark the border for this part of the Roman Empire, known as Britannia.

Well, she's a fake so that the quacks who see her can get fifteen minutes of fame. Sonar tests have already been done by scientists. There is no Nessie lurking under the surface and spying on the rich and famous. No offense to Scotland....

fake, loche is small enough that if she existed, they would have found her by now with the technology of today.
And BTW, scotland was "famous" before nessie. Loche, however, gained a lot of fame via nessie.

If it did exist it would have been dead long ago. Nothing can live forever. To suggest that a country would invent a large serpent to become famous when its past would suggest they did their best to keep outsiders out, is completely ludicrous.

The stories of nessie have been around for centuries and sightings continue to this day. and to every one that says the loch is to small to hide in that whole region is riddled with underwater caves.
