I'd suggest going to Sephora if you have one near you and having one of the employees do your eye makeup for you. Otherwise, Almay has a line of eye products based on your color. For example, with blue eyes they have a line of colors that make blue eyes pop, including eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc.

I learned from my mistakes. Bright blue = no good on a redhead. I looked like a friggin clown.

Those Almay eyecolor kits are great. My eyes are blue-green, so I have the blue eye and green eye shadow sets - they're three different colors and it shows you on the package how to apply them.

Just play around with different cheap eyeshadows, you'll find a few that suit you. My best colors are rose, light peach shimmer, and pale green.

u can find lists of colors that complement ur eyes on the internet really easily.
Eyeliner:
• Brown eyes shine rimmed in green or violet liner.
• Green eyes are enhanced by gray and other earth-toned eyeliners, while some women swear by purple.
• Blue eyed beauties wear bronze-gold and various shades of purple eyeliners with ease.

A good eyeshadow & eyeliner color should flatter your skin tone. Here's how to determine your skin tone. :

Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.

Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.

try out all different colors... I think wearing the same color everyday is boring and lame... so keep your options open & be daring.

PLEASE PLEASE whatever you do, don't cake on the black eye-liner... it makes any girl who does look trashy and looking for attention because she has VERY LITTLE confidence in her natural appearance.

Keep it simple and clean. :)
