Does anyone own a DX10 enabled nvidia card, and if so what do you think? Furthermore, does anyone have any knowledge of ati's dx10 videocard or when we may see it?

Just read the reviews at extremetech.com

There's no software to justify DX10 cards so far.

ATI's X2xxx series will hit stores "soon".

DirectX 10 video card offer full support for DirectX 9.

Take a look at the major difference in picture quality between the two DirectX versions here. You must have Vista to use DirectX 10.

I notice each month a increase in the number of DirectX 10 cards at newegg.com . Currently 1/4 of the X16 cards are DirectX 10 compatible. By this time next year I expect almost all cards will support DirectX 10.
