California b/c it has the most variety in terms of geography, climates, and cities. The northern and southern most parts of the state are very different from each other. You pretty much have it all in CA. You have temperate rainforests filled with giant redwoods up north. Bone dry hot deserts in the south. Beautiful mountains with very scenic places like Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. Vast valleys like the Central Valley that are kind of like the midwest with all the farms and agriculture. The central CA coast is beautiful with spots like Monterey, Big Sur, and Morro Bay. The southern CA coast is also beautiful with nice, scenic beaches, the warmest water on the west coast and it has the best weather in the US, always sunny and 75. There's also the wine country. Then you have all the great cities like LA, San Francisco, and San Diego which are all different from each other and each has something great to offer when visiting. I've lived in this state my whole life and still haven't seen everything it has to offer. Come to CA b/c you'll get to see more in this state than any other state out there.
