You should try a hair relaxer that black people use on their hair. My friend had the same problem, and we used this on her hair, and it works! P.S. Don't use straighteners.. They will make it worse!!!

My hair used to do this.
First, you need to get a good shampoo and conditioner that works with your hair. You can find this by trial and error; use some and find the best for you. Buy a hair mask or deep conditioning conditioner and use it every few times you wash your hair.
Then, I recommend these two products:
L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight Cream... it is a straightening cream and it protects hair from heat!

Also, I know you said you used Garnier Fructis but I recommend that you try Garnier Fructis Sleek And Shine Leave In Serum... it is amazing for frizzy hair, but don't apply to the roots...

Finally, dry your hair with the nozzle pointing down at all times whilst combing through your hair. Then, straighten your hair after wards if it is really bad. This is why you need to use a heat protectant cream. Get some good straighteners, such as GHD's, if you can afford them.
Hope I helped. =)

One shower with sleek and shine shampoo from garnier fructis then when hair is still damp put hair milk (same brand) into and run hair through with a comb. Blow dry on low setting cool, when hair is dry (one use a good straightener like FHI or CHI-- you can get these at any beauty supply store) put straightening spray into to help straighten better then go to town with the straighting but always use protective spray on your hair first so as not to damage it.

Well I use the Fructis leave-in conditioner when I get out of the shower. And then I spray Beyond the Zone sraightening spray (orange-transparent bottle) from Sally Beauty Supply and flat iron my hair with a CHI section by section. This really works for me.

what about just working with your hair's natural texture. Get a good trim, the friz could be split ends. Then get your hair cut into layers and put a curl gel in it and scrunch it. It is better to work with your hair than to fight it everyday.

Find out about permanent straightening. It costs more but will last until it grows out.
