The Flamingo is a very good hotel. We stayed there from 8/29/10 - 9/1/10. The room was $56.00 a night. The Flamingo is in the middle of the strip.

I have stayed in many of the strip motels in Vegas. To me the most under rated motel in las Vegas on the strip is the Monte Carlo. It is a very nice. The service i received was the best on the strip and it is in a great location. The price is even better

If this is your first trip to Vegas, stay somewhere in the mid-strip area. It is a great location to be able to get out and see the most places within a "short" walk. I would suggest Bally's, Paris, Mirage or Flamingo for your price range. You even can do better than $150 a night on some nights. To hopefully help you pick a place, you can check out a bunch of room pics on my site...
