There are more and more competitors in the world of IT software and products. So who do you think will gain the upper hand. COuld it be Microsoft, Apple, or maybe a third dark horse competitor.

I don't follow IT at all but it seems to me that it could be a prime time for a third party to surface. Microsoft and Apple have been around a long time and if a young upstart can get a grasp, the new generation of users might be ready for a change just for change's sake.

I predict a future shrinking market with 2 or 3 big players. Microsoft would have to be up there.
