I just recently got the Monroe percing. I am job hunting and I was wondering if there is a type of jewlery that I can put in to mask it in some way. I am looking for an office job, and not quite sure if this would be exceptable in the work place. I hear different opinions about it.

u can buy a retainer to put in it, so u don`t risk the hole closing up on u...facial piercings have a tendency to close very quickly!!! my monroe closed up after just 3 hours when it had been pierced for more than 6 months!!!

I have 36 piercings including the monrore I work for the state try a very small ball they have some that look invisible or a clear ball if u must take it out on your lunch put it back in and twist counter clock wise to insure the piercing does not close don't forget to use sea salt for gargling

As a hiring manager who has multiple piercings, I can definatly tell you take it out when you are interviewing. Unfortunatly the perception of people with piercings is not a good one. Your best bet is to remove it during the interview and hiring process and wait until you can get ahold of an employee handbook. When most interviewers see and interviewee wearing body jewelry(except hot topic) they assume the interviewee has no respect for themself or the interviewer. Hope this helps.

get a clear retainer. Most body jewelery shops sell them. But trust me, with facial piercings, it's even harder to get a job. No one in the business world takes you seriously with facial piercings.

I would just take it out. It is going to be a hassle to "mask" it every time you go to work.
