side sweep bangs are over for the scene girls, now its just bangs. go with short layers but keep hair about shoulder length (DONT GET A MULLET!). dark nail polish (maroon or black). listen to the right kind of music (punk, "emo", "screamo"). layer your clothes too because they all do that (wear stripes and polka dots...not together but you know what i mean) . wear eyeliner and eyeshadow if you dont already. you also have to be fun to be around cause people seem to think that scene kids never smile and if you think that, they wont like you. and go to WARPED TOUR ...and TASTE OF CHAOS and lots of mosh-pit concerts!!! funnnnnnnn! lol ...ohhh and can't forget the VANS shoes!

Scene style just comes naturally to chicks that are ACTUALLY scene. To be scene, you have to know the lifestyle, the lingo, everything...you have to be born with a rocking personality in the first place or else you won't be taken seriously.

That said, it is up to you to decide if you are cool enough for the scene lol:P Try getting hair extensions, tease your hair up at the top, wear bright make up (MAC is good) and big, dolly fake eye lashes (also from MAC...love them!) . And just really add your own twists to the style. Scene kids are usually artistic and fashionable.

People who are Scene(aka Scensters) whore themselves in everything relating to Emo and Screamo music. Scene kids try very desperatly to keep posers out of the 'scene' by giving off a distinct "I'm better than you, I'm so hardcore, you're not-go die" attitude. This attitude towards others makes them appear self-centered and obnoxious. Granted some of them aren't, the majority of scene kids are assholes. In an attempt to save their favorite bands from going "mainstream" and selling out, they act like bitches, basically. Scene kids have the same characteristics as your average hXc Emo Kid. Scene girls in particular find it necessary to whore themselves to appear hardcore and tough. They can be seen with short, choppy hair cuts, excessive amounts of eye make-up, tight band t-shirts, facial piercings, and a digital camera in their hand (because they can't go 5 minutes with taking a sexxxy photo of themselves from a weird angle to post on their MySpace to attract scene boys). They are probably the most self-centered of the scene kids and they take pride in acting like sluts and sleeping with as many Emo boys as they can.

Your style is supposed to be your own, right? So don't ask how to get a style. Create one.
