I don't think so. Too liberal, and now he's calling for investigations into gasoline prices. That doesn't resonate well with me.

Gunk - I think there's a good reason no company has applied to build a refinery here in the last 30 years. It takes forever to get through the govt. red tape and then you're subject to very expensive compliance costs. Until very recently, I'm guessing it wasn't economically feasible to build and operate a profitable new refinery in the US. Personally, I'm for doing what the French have done - go nuclear.

Realistically Yes he can and perhaps he should. I think that he is highly electable on a national level (which Hilary and Barrack may not be)
Further if Rudy gets the GOP nomination a large number of real Conservatives will just sit it out after all Rudy is
1) In favor of Gun Control LIBERAL
2) Pro-Choice LIBERAL
3) In Favor of Gay marriages LIBERAL
4) A Transvestite (He would dress up as a woman often when he was mayor of NYC) LIBERAL
5) Divorced from his first cousin JUST PLAIN WRONG
(PS He was a great mayor though)
So how are Conservatives actually going to support him? Thompson will either die of heart failure on the trail or prove himself to be so vapid that he will not get the nomination
If there is any justice the race will be between Edwards and Romney. But then again Justice is a lost concept in politics now a days.

Lol... my mom thinks it's the worst thing ever when you call a child 'bad'... bad boy, bad girl, etc.... But you're being a mom, and you're doing things your way... and preventing your son from throwing tantrums. regardless of age, he needs to know that he can't get away with that and his behavior is unacceptable. your mom is being a gramma... and defending her little baby boy... it'll happen the rest of his life... in that situation you have to tell your mom to stay out of it unfortunately. and no, not all boys act like this all the time. do toddlers and kids have tantrums and misbehave? of course. do they do things to test you? all the time... that's when parenting comes into play... which is exactly why you did what you did. if it's effective, then you did the right thing. good luck and just think of how it's going to be when he hits his 2's... :)

GOD FORBID that we look into who's jabbing the American public with these record profits the oil companies are making.
No No we don't need a lawyer we just need to keep our mouths shut and pay off these crooks so they can give the top exec's multi-million dollar bonus's before they go bankrupt and take the worker bee's pensions down with the companies.
Unless you are one of these millionaires without a care in the world
YOU would be the first one running for a lawyer if you or a loved one of YOURS were hurt or killed by one of these companies that negligently or carelessly put out a product disregarding public safety all in the name of PROFIT
Are you afraid the blame will go all the way to George W Bush?
FACT — DESPITE PAST RHETORIC, FOREIGN OIL DEPENDENCE HAS INCREASED: President Bush has pledged to reduce our energy dependence in every State of the Union he has delivered since taking office. At the same time, the United States has become increasingly dependent on foreign oil, from 58 percent of oil consumed in the U.S. in 2000 to 70 percent in September 2006. U.S. dependence on OPEC nations for oil imports “has risen to its highest level in 15 years.”

If Clinton and Obama stumble, Edwards has a decent chance. And I don't think it hurts to be "too liberal." I used to think Reagan was too conservative to be elected, but it didn't seem to matter that his views were well to the right of the majority of people. In fact, in 2008, I think the Democrats would be hurt if they nominated someone who was too centrist, because that makes people think that the parties are the same. People want a change, so if they have a strong candidate to vote for, they are not going to be concerned that he is "too liberal."

Only a tool of the oil companies isn't asking for investigations into gasoline prices. But Edwards can't beat Hillary, and neither of them is too liberal.

I don't think so either. Although he was a few votes away from being vice president a few years ago. He is too liberal and he doesn't have much gravitas. He also has a past as an ambulance chaser lawyer. He doesn't resonate with me at all, but there are people in this country that buy that stuff.

Why not, do you make a great deal of money off of big oil...remember, our entire economy thrives based upon oil and gas and our government subsidizes lots of it...and don't let the ultra neo cons fool you, this isn't a refining issue(there has only been one new refinery request applied for in the past 30 years, look it up)...And lets not even get started on the suppression of better fuels that's occurred in this country making us beholden to oil rich nations like Iran and Saudi Arabia that threatens our security daily, all in the name of oil profits for Exxon and the rest of their cabal

He is very charming . I liked him better before Elizabeth's cancer came back. Now I think he should let someone else be president and let his priority be with his family. He can support his country in some way other than being president. Being president is a full time job that does not give a lot of family time. I would think his family would need him at this time.

He will never be more than a second fiddle type of guy. The best he can hope for is a cabinet position. But his ego probably wouldn't allow that unless it was like Sec. of State or Attorney General. Neither of which I see him qualified for.

Why should we trust someone who doesn't know how much a haircut SHOULD cost?
Let's elect hillary and let another clinton make a joke out of the whitehouse.
