I've just watched the recent movie "Sunshine". A question?

Question

If someone was designing a spaceship to travel to the sun, why would anybody in their right mind would name it "Icarus"? Fantastic movie though, watch it. Seriously. Very cynical, very nasty. Great ending. And Cillian Murphy looks great in it.

Yes calling a ship travelling towards the sun "Icarus" is just asking for trouble. Maybe the team that built it were called "Daedalus" or something :-))

If you can find it, I'd suggest checking out DIrty Deeds. It's a pretty low-budget flick with no real big names, Milo Ventigmilia (Gilmore Girls, Rocky Balboa) and Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls) being the biggest names, but it's a really funny teen flick. It's at this high school where they have this thing called the Dirty Deeds that someone can do every Homecoming, but no one has been able to do them all in years. Ventimiglia does the deeds to get Chabert's brother out of trouble, and to sort of impress her, cause she's, well, hot. I was surprised at how good it was. Check it out!

actually i think its one of the most dissapointing films ive ever seen , the hype surounding it was quite big but the acting was poor, it wasnt scary at all and basically was a massive let down.

and that camera flashing and freexing just added to the boredom.

im not trying to bad mouth this film as it isnt that bad however it was built up way over the odds and isnt a patch on event horizon
