Yes, I've met more than a few people. One turned out to be a relationship, 2 turned out to be a pretty cool friend, and the others were "meet once and uhh never again" kinds of things. And no, I'm not married

I met a guy on-line through Yahoo Personals, and today is our 4 year anniversary. Just met in a public place the first time, because there are a few strange ones out there.

Been a real fun ride too. Looking forward to another 8 or more.
If you're honest, you can meet people on line that ACTUALLY enjoy the things you do. If you're a player, as most people are in the "outside" world. You'll attract the same meaningless relationships on line also.

My best friend dated people she met online several times. It was always a disaster! I'm not saying that you will never find someone online - I know there's good people out there. Just be careful & really get to know someone first.

yes, and no. get to know them first and unless you want nothing from it, make sure they are near you so you can meet them regularly. The online thing does not work
