If I'm tracking with your thought (and I'm not entirely certain that I am), you do what you would in any situation when your love interest has found other love interests--you take your lumps and move on. Take a breath, straighten yourself, put a smile on your face, and then go on with your life--without the other person you had pinned your hopes on. Good luck.
