That is so funny, we were just talking about that. Stay away from Walmart this weekend! A friend I work with also works a 2nd job at the local Walmart grocery store and she said she hates the 1st and the 15th!

I always stay clear of Wal-Mart. Corporate thugs and the closest thing left in America to a violation of the 13th Amendment, the abolition of slavery.

oh my god, thanks, I am on my way right now, have a few errands to run, dont want to get caught up in that train wreck tomorrow. And its not just liberals to thank, what about China, and Bush, Wal-Mart appeases the American public to think that they actually can afford everything they need. What a joke

I don't shop at Walmart. You can find everything at Walmart cheaper online. Plus, Walmart sucks.
What's the big deal about the first of the month?

Walmart got its start in the Red State of Arkansas, and nearly everyone with an income of under 100,000 shops there. I fail to understand why the first of the month would be a big shopping day, but perhaps this Republican economy is putting more people on aid.

Man, Wally-world always has too many people in it.
I understand your point though.
Since we have these social programs, why can't they at least spread the bennies out over the month . . .

now that hits below the belt. I consider myself to be more liberal than conservative. I have an associate's degree and am working on my bachelors, I work full time, and my husband works full time. We do not have welfare, food stamps, WIC or anything of the like. So keep your dumb comments to yourself. Not all liberals are white trash.
