He's coming back from a business trip he wasn't happy about going on, so I planned on making him a nice dinner and having some wine when he gets home.
What else could I get for him to have out when he gets home? I don't want to do flowers. Something sweet and thoughtful though.

Have a hot bath waiting when he gets home, then climb in with him and give him a nice neck and back massage. Add some candles around the tub and bring in your wine!
My boyfriend did this for me for Valentine's Day, and I will never forget it! Really thoughtful, relaxing and romantic!

Diner and you in something that is easy for him to play with you in. On the couch and a easy to eat diner that he does not have to feel like he has to eat if not to hungry. Keep it simple. More like a snack. Get a good movie.
