I drafted Peter Bondra on my NHL 2K6 LA Kings franchise and we're almost to the playoffs with him.

Yes, I realize in today's standards they are pretty much dead, but lets go back ten years ago then and pick either two of these players or another favorite.

How about Bobby Probert??? He's not still around, but he was the toughest SOB to ever lace on skates. Joey Kocer wasn't a slouch either. Way back in the day... I'd have to go with Howe. Ever hear of a Gordie Howe hat trick??? A goal, an assist, and a fight.

As soon as you said "If you have a another favorite player," you pretty much eliminated Peter Bondra from the answers you are going to receive here. Bondra and Palffy are pretty much nobody's favorite player anymore. They are both pretty much washed up. Palffy retired due to injuries, and Bondra came back this year, only to play awfully in Chicago for half a season. So I wouldn't choose either of them. 10 years ago? They both would have been good picks, so long as you didn't need any defense.
Currently, if I had to pick one player to build my team around, I'd have to go with Crosby. He's the next one. He is not one of my favorite players, mind you, but I ain't stupid!

I would have to say neither of those two. I'm gonna say from my point of view for just a player thats gonna make a solid 2 million a year, Darcy Tucker! For a smaller power forward that man is insane. He can score for one and is probably the most intense above average player i've ever seen.
