You know the old saying, "All men are dogs" Well, dogs only really get aggresive when they feel their territory or property is being infringed on (Like men) And (no offense ladies) why do you think they say women are "catty." Men are to dogs as women are to cats.

Not necessarily. Some breeds can have a tendency toward dog aggressiveness, including pits and chows, especially if not socialized early in life. Others are very sociable. At the same time, some cats are extremely social with other cats.

True! All the dogs I've owned in my life like other dogs. All the cats hate cats. Strange.. I never thought of that before.

Cats just show affection differently than dogs. Dogs appear to be friendlier.

Dogs are by nature pack-oriented, and have been since the first wolf decided to pair up with a human. They hunt in packs and feel more secure when with humans or other dogs. They trust other dogs, unless challenged to a fight.
Cats are by nature solitary. Wild cats stalk and kill on their own, and suspect other cats of trying to take over their food or their mates.

I think so, because, i have a cat, and when a kitten entered my house, my cat looked like it was about to kill the poor little kitten. My cat seemed jealous, or something.

Dogs are pack animals so they are used to being around other dogs.

DOGS DON'T LIKE OTHER DOGS.
BUT CATS GET ALONG FINE WITH EACH OTHER.
I HAD THEM BOTH AND MY DOG HATED THE OTHER DOG I BROUGHT.
EVER SEE NEIGHBORS THAT ONLY HAVE ONE DOG UNLESS THE DOGS CAME FROM THE SAME LITTER.
AND PEOPLE HAVE MORE THEN ONE CAT.
