He doesn't look Presidential, so probably not too well.

Personally, I think he'd LOSE because of several factors:
1) He was too "Northern elite" for the Southerners.
2) The Christian Right would HATE him
3) His social policies would be branded socialism and that is a "dirty" word in today's political climate.

He would not be able to keep his polio handicap from the voters. He instituted loads of liberal government programs. He would be fighting Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama for George Soros' campaign contributions.

He wouldn't even win a primary. They even knew back then to keep his handicap as hidden as possible. In today's world of multimedia, a guy in a wheelchair would have no chance.
