I took that motorcycle training course. On my test there was like 50 questions all of which were easy as hell. After i passed the test all i did was take a little card to the DMV and got my new license. O sorry your are asking about a permit?
The permit test is 15 questions long and every question is a common sense answer. No sweat i got my moto permit when i was 17 and i didn't study a but ir even know what to expect and i got a 90 on it. Just remember to crosss rail road tracks at a 90 degree angle and if in doubt pick the answer that says slow down. Also when conter steering you push right to go right and push left to go Left. When getting you license i would take the training course. I live in the south subs of Chicago and i was glad i took the course cuz i met some good people and people i still ride with to this day. As long as its not to hot out. And a lot of the stuff is really just a review if you have any riding experience at all but its easier then having to take the DMV driving test which i heard was damn near impossible.

Took the refresher 1st of April, had 50 questions all common sense. Had a 19 year old there and he aced it with 100%. You'll do fine, just use your head.

It's been a long time but if you go to the license office, they will give you a study guide and everything is in there.
