That really depends on the school and the individual department. I've seen minors ranging from 13 credits to 30+. Generally I've noticed that technical/scientific minors tend to require more credit hours, but that's just my experience from reading school catalogs.

That varies for different colleges and, at times, for different departments. I've seen minors with as few as 18 units and as many as 30 where I teach.
