All the so-called 'proofs' that man hasn't landed on the moon are torn to shreds by simple science.

The bad astronomy site mentioned in the first answer is good. I also recommend the NASA history site in the first source below. If he is a reasonable person who simply does not know all the facts and has heard some of the conspiracy proponent's claims and so has some doubts, he will be persuaded by the facts. If he IS a conspiracy theory proponent, it is hopeless; you will never convince him. Such a person, when presented with any proof at all will still say it was fake. Even if you took him to the Moon in a space craft you personally built with your own multi-billion dollar fortune, and showed him the Apollo landing sites, he would just say that you went there earlier and planted fake flags and LM decent stages. People like Bart Sibrel, a conspiracy theorist who believes that NASA faked the moon landing, and who confronted retired astronaut Buzz Aldrin (the 2nd man to walk on the Moon) on September 9, 2002 and said to him, "You're a coward, and a liar, and a thief" (for continuing to say he walked on the Moon), are beyond all hope. See the second source.

I have an easier time believing that we pulled off the moon landings than all of those people were able to perpetuate such a big hoax for so long.
Tell him to try it from a different perspective. Assume it was faked, then go through all of the logistical issues they would have faced to do that. The much more reasonable conclusion is that it was for real.

Look at a video of the first guy on the moon. There are many errors to it. In some pictures, the flag is waving but there is no wind on the moon, and again, there are other errors. Check it out for yourself and you'll see why the person thought it was fake. Many other people believe so too.

Remember never argue with a fool, folks watching may not know which one is the fool. Your friend is a fool. He would not believe any fact you show him, not even if one came back from the dead. Who said that?

Oh come on. Don't try to argue with with someone like that. You will never change his mind, it's set in concrete. Trying will just get you worked up over nothing.

There are retroreflectors placed on the moon. Either people or robots took them there. It was much easier to send people in 1968.

I advise him to check out http://apollohoax.proboards21.com
There he can discuss the matter with people who have spent a good deal of time studying Apollo, including myself.
