Yes. It's normal. As far as what to eat, anything that sounds good right now. People will say to stick to fruits and veggies, but if something sounds better then that, eat it. It won't hurt you to indulge a little now. Try to eat some fruits and veggies every day, but you don't have to stick to a hardcore regime. Just do what feels right to you.

Hunger when you are pregnant is an interesting thing. I know for me, I'm not hungry one minute, and the next minute I could eat a house!! But then, I'm in my third trimester now, so that could have something to do with it. I understand how you feel though!!

Yes, feeling hungry all the time is normal: especially in the beginning of pregnancy. Your body is going through HUGE changes. You won't feel as hungry in the second and third trimester.

I would eat small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big meals.

When I was pregnant with my twins, I tried to eat as many fruits and vegetables as possible.

When I was pregnant with my first, all I did was ate. I didn't know what the meaning of full was. Saltine crackers, and cookies that are not high in sugar is good for snacks. I usually munch of chips but that's not too healthy because of salt and stuff. Eat whatever you feel comfortable eating..just make sure it's well cooked and snacks that is not artificial flavor.

I did, through out my pregnancy. It was the only thing that helped to keep the nausea away. Then if I didn't constantly nibble my blood sugar would drop. Just be careful and don't overdue it...I was good until the end of my pregnancy when I started giving into the sweet tooth.
For snacking...my fav was baby carrots...but any veggy or fruit would be a good choice.

dear goodness! I'm 12 weeks and STARVING all the friggin time. i eat yogurt a lot. and vegetables. i've found nothing really helps and i'm always hungry no matter what i eat... but i've been told you don't NEED any extra calories during the first trimester... i think this is a lie they tell you to feel bad about yourself when you gain too much weight.

hang in there... when i find something that eventually fills me up... i'll let you know.

yes, I never felt full after I ate, even when I had more than my share. Even when I went to the grocery store, I would open a box of cookies, and pay for them when I was finished shopping. some of the things I craved were disgusting together, like strawberries & dill pickles (together). and I would throw up every time I ate them, but I had to have them. I also had to have candy, so I had candie dishes everywhere, even on the bathroom counter. thank God I was underweight when I got pregnant, or I would have been huge by the time I delivered.

Yes, I still feel like that and I am 21 weeks. I usually just snack throughout the day on crackers and cheese. Probably want to stay away from chips and such, just cuz you don't want to gain too much weight.

I totally felt that way after I got over being sick I was like a starving crazy woman. Try to eat a bunch of healthy snacks to fill you up. granola, yogurt, fruit and veggie slices with light dips, and eat healthy meals. Don't skip breakfast.

Yes. I was the same way. I tried eating fruits, veggies, saltines. My doctor said that I could eat pretty much anything that was healthy in small portions whenever I was hungry.
