If I understand this correctly, you want to know why the scammers have not been sued.

Generally, scammers cheat poor people who are uneducated or elderly. These people are in a position to sue nobody.

In addition to the difficulties of initiating a suit for people of low means, it is often very difficult to track down the scammers after they've completed the scam.

Because most people complain about their situations and do not do anything about it.

When people get scammed, they need to make phone calls, certified letters, complaint letters; etc. Then if nothing accomplished, they need to seek legal advice and present the evidential documents that they did in fact tried to rectify the situation.

This is time consuming and costly. That's why some people just give up.

I hope you didn't eat them. I would not eat something that you have no idea where it comes from and what ingredients were used. In any case, you can ask to have your money back, and that's all you can sue for. As for the copyright violation: only M&M can do that.. Send them an email and let them know who's selling the fake M&M.

Unfortunately most people who are victims of a scam are usually undereducated and low wage earners.

They don't have the resources to launch a law suit.

You can't con a person who isn't himself, a little greedy.
