Yes...I itemize my receipts so I know what I have spent my income on at the end of the month, I find that it helps me to cut back on impulse buying when I do that. Like one thing that I noticed by itemizing is how much we were spending on candy and ice cream, plus eating out and I have been trying to limit the spending in those areas.
I use finance software (Quicken) to keep track of my expenses and if I don't keep it updated on a regular basis then I might fall into a negative balance.

Not really. This is something I have to work on, to be budget-savvy. I love making my loved ones happy, so I spend a lot more than I should.

Yes... I make sure all bills are paid, then I usually budget what amount we spend on extras, unless it's on me, then I usually don't go by a budget :)

When it concerns me... yes. But I tend to be a little too liberal in spending on anyone I care about. I think Thinkerbelle and I suffer the same ailment. LOL
