I know of two players (Cory Stillman and Mike Commodore) who played in back to back Cup finals, losing the first and winning the second. I'm just curious if there are any players who've suffered two consecutive losses, or any other players who lost, then won in the following year.

Thanks for your help.

There are probably a lot of more on the list.

I clicked on the question thinking it was about C Pronger. Lost last year, and in again this year.

Boston lost in 77 and 78, so most of that team would have been mostly the same. Edmonton lost in 83 then won in 84 & 85 (Gretzky, Messier, Coffey, and the rest)

There would have been more teams in the Original 6 years if you want to look back further.
