I have been getting cold sores since I was little... but only about once a year... maybe every 2 years... Since I found out I`m pregnant I have had 2 so far! I`m 11 weeks.. Is this something related to my pregnancy, maybe my immune system is just a little weak now? I hate cold sores more then anything in the world... lol.. any advice is helpful...

EXCEPT stupid herpes comments... I didn`t get herpes form anyone.. it is hereditary in my family.. thanks!

Your hormones does change things and you could get cold sores more often. I am the same way too. The last one I got was back in 2003 and all of a sudden when I was 2 1/2 months I got one out of no where.

Its your body fighting off infection...with your immune system being down because of pregnancy. It may get better, or you may have to tough it out. Your immune system is really low right now, otherwise it would see the fetus as an intruder and fight it off. Bodies way of sustaining and pregnancy.

This could just be your nerves or your hormones changing. Herpison L works great!

Ummm.. one question, who said she was kissing anyone, or any baby? She's pregnant, not smooching on her child! Wow, people need to read the question!
