Both should be important, the law 98% of the time is the difference between right and wrong but I suppose it's how some individuals perceive that and how high or LOW their own moral code is. To me I never drink and drive to others they think they will be ok after 4 pints. You can only judge morals by your own standards and what happens if those standards are low.

own morale code. I see what your getting at though. We need laws to keep a balance, I just wish there was someone with with a morale code to balance the laws!

Unfortunately some peoples moral codes are screwed and that's why we have laws. For most people their moral codes are with in the law. Their are some things we don't agree on morally or lawfully. That's where a lot of distention comes from.

Their own moral code. Laws change and can be stupid, but you need to live up to your own code.
