For me, it's Led Zeppelin I

As my friend Keith once said, "could you imagine yourself walking into a record store in 1969 and just picking up Led Zeppelin I because the cover looked cool. Then playing it for the first time and being totally blown away by what you accidentally just bought."

I chose this album because it changed to entire Rock world and influenced countless musicians. And still does.

Van Halen I is a good choice. I also like Zeppelin IV & Houses Of The Holy. Boston's first album is also a good choice, and AC/DC's Back In Black and Highway To Hell are both perfect. My dark horse pick that I'm sure will surprise many is Black Sabbath's Heaven And Hell. But anyway, it's impossible to pick just one.

The guy who said Van Halen I is on the right track. EVERYTHING on that record is great, both fun and aggressive, innovative, and it changed the way guitarists all over the world played.

The Joshua Tree by U2 isn't even in my top 100.
