WERE IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A CONDO AND OUR LOAN IS APPROVED AND EVERYTHING IS READY FOR CLOSING EXCEPT THIS GRANT. IT FEELS LIKE WEVE BEEN WAITING FOR EVER. PRAY THAT GOD WILL GIVE ME PATIENCE. LORD KNOWS I NEED IT.

This must be a grant from local or state government. Anytime the government is involved they have to protect themselves from what the public might later think about every little decision they make. That means everything has to be done very slowly.
You can always count on that.

I am going to assume that your grant is coming from the GOVERNMENT, and that should answer your question fully. When is the last time you ever saw that huge bureaucracy move at anything other than a snail's pace ?
