What is the best college to go to Duke or Penn?

I am was looking into these colleges for my 12th grade year so i can have my college figured out a head of time. But the colleges i was looking into was Duke and Penn. Im not sure which one i want to go to. Which one do you think is better? and Why?

These are two terrific schools, and you wouldn't do badly to go to either one. Penn is an Ivy and Duke has an outstanding academic reputation as well. The two things you might want to look at are the major you are thinking of and geography. If your major is stronger in one place than in the other, you might want to choose that school. Otherwise, or if you don't yet have any idea of what you want to study, realize that Penn is a very urban school which, although it is a beautiful campus, is in a sketchy part of Philadelphia. It does have the advantage of being in a large city, which may be important to you. On the other hand, Duke is in a much smaller town, but a much nicer neighborhood, from what I hear (I've been on Penn's campus, but not Duke's). If you really think you have a chance to get into these schools,you should try to visit them and get a feel for how you would fit in at each.

My opinion doesn't matter. Go visit the two schools to see which one you like better. See what programs/majors that they offer and go to the one that has the major that you are interested in. If they both have it, then just pick which one you liked best from the visit (and FAFSA if that matters).
