I live in a small apartment with very little space. How much space do I need between me and my TV to use the Nintendo Wii controller? Specifically, I want to play the tennis game that comes with the Wii.

Not much. I have mine set up in my bedroom, and I can use the remote as close as, maybe 2 or 3 feet from the sensor bar. What matters more is how much you're going to be into it, and how much you think you'll be swinging the remote around. When I heard about remotes flying off the wrist straps and breaking TVs...what is the matter with you people?! It's a GAME!!

I have found out that 5 to 8 feet is the best distance you need to be away from the TV. Less then 5 starts to crowd out your space when playing Wii sports (mostly on boxing). The more space the better but I get away with about only 5 to 6 feet in my basement.

my friend has only around 3-4 feet for his arm swinging action when playing the wii but it is a little uncomfertable when playing two player i would probably say 8 feet max

You need a circular area with an approximate circumfrerence of 5 ft., this will allow for movement and the occasional fall.

i'm undecided in the event that they are going to enhance the equipment or no longer yet whilst they did they might extra advantageous than probably only sell an adapter or upload on for the older structures to cause them to play them too.

Probably a little longer than the length of your arms really. Unless you like to run and dive for it like I do! lol

from my experiances playing: tennis only goes side to side. and make sure you have enough arm room. other than that, it's not like your running in huge circles or anything.

If you can stand infront of your TV with your arms out streched, and spin without hitting annything, you will have enough.

:D

4 or 5 feet should be fine, I have less than that and have no problem.
