god. people are so damn judgemental. You're right. School needs to teach people more about sex and less about abstinence. Thank god I got a thorough sex education before the republicans came into power.

You ovulate about 13-15 days after the first day of your last period. If you had sex just a couple days after you finished your period, there's a good chance you can become pregnant (depending on how long your cycle is) because sperm can live up to 7 days inside you.

If you have unprotected sex after you ovulate, you can't get pregnant - but you can easily get an STD so be careful.

You can tell when you're ovulating because your vaginal secretions become more clear, thin and sloppy.

Hiya hun
well it can take up to around 10 days for the egg to meet the sperm (providing you are ovulating-which is usually around 14 days after the first day of your period) then after the egg meeting the sperm the egg has to be fertilised and implanted . So its usually around 19 days before a pregnancy test will show up as positive or negative. and for the people on here that are clearly just negative and quite rude well THERE IS NO NEED FOR IT GUYS - just because a person asks this type of question doesnt mean they are immature or would be a bad mother or whatever it is!! what the hell!! and to ZAK: BACK OFF THIS PERSON im fed up of seeing GENUINE people asking for help on YA and being scrutonised and made to feel bad just because others want to have a negative answer!! IF YOU HAVE NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE TO SAY THEN DONT SAY IT AT ALL! i feel my duty to say this ok - sorry cleo forgive me

is this a general question or personal....I've answered for personal so no offence intended...

well usually within the first three hours. if he comes in you then the sperm is well on it's way and depending on your ovulating cycle there is a chance that you have already conceived.
if you are really concerned and this isn't what you want then make an appointment asap to your doctors for the morning after pill.

next time get him to wear a condom and ask your doctor about the pill.(everything you tell your doctor is confidential, so your family won't know)

Hey,
Premature ejaculation can be cured with natural methods. One really good one you can follow is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565

When a man is suffering from premature ejaculation, he is often climaxing before his partner and in the case of most men it is difficult if not impossible for them to continue intercourse after ejaculating. That’s because chemicals are released when a man ejaculates and these are the same chemicals that make a person feel sleepy and/or not aroused. It’s not that they have suddenly lost interest; just their brain is telling them that the sex is over. This effect is more prominent after intercourse than after masturbation because intercourse actually causes four times more of these chemicals to be released. If premature ejaculation occurs frequently, it can lead to embarrassment for the man and sexual frustration for both partners.
Cheers.

If you've ever been disillusioned into thinking that there's nothing you can do to prevent premature ejaculation and that it's just something "you're born with" or "can't do anything about" then hopefully this will change your mind and inspire you https://tr.im/4udMq

Because the truth is that there are many ways to prevent premature ejaculation, and being able to last longer in bed is something that lies within your control.

This would all depend on where you are in your menstrual cycle.

But, in this day and age, with all the sexually transmitted dieseases like chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea, why on earth would anyone want to have unprotected sex?

if you do nothing then you have a possibility of becoming pregnant , however if this is not what you want then you have 72 hours to have the morning after pill which stops you from becoming pregnant

The soonest time is about 2hrs depending on (i) the speed of sperm cell (average 8 inches per hour) and (ii) the position of a ready egg nearest about 16 inches.

3.5 minutes.

Kidding.

As soon as the sperm is released you have a high possiblity to become pregnant. If you are ovulating, of course.
