Answer at top, but in calculator you can change, in the 'view' tab, to be a scientific calculator (hex, bin, dec, etc) or a standard one.
If you use it a lot drag and drop it from the 'start menu' to your desktop for a shortcut.

Am not sure what u wana do exactly
but u can use a calculator in windows
go to start-run type calc then enter

Click on Start, look to the left and see if "Calculator" is there.
If not, click on All Programs, then Accessories and select "Calculator"

you can then switch between scientific and non scientific by going
view~> scientific/standard
