Answer at top, but in calculator you can change, in the 'view' tab, to be a scientific calculator (hex, bin, dec, etc) or a standard one.

If you use it a lot drag and drop it from the 'start menu' to your desktop for a shortcut.

Am not sure what u wana do exactly
but u can use a calculator in windows
go to start-run type calc then enter

Click on Start, look to the left and see if "Calculator" is there.
If not, click on All Programs, then Accessories and select "Calculator"

I agree with Philly, you can also use the Microsoft Excel program for faster and more complicated calculations

you can then switch between scientific and non scientific by going
view~> scientific/standard

go into your start menu, then accessories, on the list you will see the calculator option. just click on it
