i try to keep an open mind about things but i have doubts when i think about the fact why would god choose them to be the bringer or forseer of events and if they are real why wont they take any tests to prove it, like that million dollar challenge, they always make up excuses as to why they wont take it or ignore the guy. Im not going to say its not real because i dont know for sure but they claim they have some kind of sixth sense or superhuman power almost that lets them do this, what are the odds of that? It could be real or they could be scamming us for profit or other means.
Heres a secret- take for instance sylvia browne, i know of a friend of a friend who went to go see one of her shows and i was told they made the people there follow specific rules and fill out a paper before they went on. Only certain people could ask specific questions. It was really odd.

I'm open minded about it, but currently, no. I do not. I have seen absolutely NO evidence whatsoever to suggest it is true. Most supposed psychics use tricks and suggestion to show how psychic they really are. The rest are merely astrology nuts playing the laws of averages to suggest what will happen. Until I see some evidence that it is legit, then I will continue to feel this way.

am cynical and skeptical of them as I did a paper on psychics for Sociology class. the ones I sent questions to were either totally in disagreement with each other or the answers were so vague they could be interpreted any way the reader wanted. ten years after the class was still receiving ads from psychics I never heard of.

There are psychic people. I don't feel that anyone is one hundred percent. There are also people who can read your mind like others read a book. They can tell you things about yourself and events in your life. My suggestion is do not give your personal power to a psychic. Be grateful for everything in your life and do your best. I believe things happen for a reason and belief in God or whatever you perceive God to be works the real miracles in life.

I believe that in a way we all have the ability to detect something, like the feeling we got the first time Michael Jackson got off for child abuse, I just knew he’d do it again. But I don’t think that there is a single person out there who can look into a crystal ball and say ‘on 5/30/07 you’ll die.’
I do believe in profits, people who by nature can give you a warning but they themselves don’t really know what is really going to happen they just know its going to be either beneficial or detrimental.

No I do not, they are either outright frauds, or utter fools. Spend 5 minutes talking to one and you will easily be able to determine which category they belong to. Harry Houdini, before he got into magic, worked as a psychic. He later spent a great deal of effort proving they were fakes. he never met a psychic, he couldn't prove was a fake.

I was told by a psychic once that there would come a day when I would no longer believe in psychics.
She was absolutely right.

Everyone is psychic in one way or another. Deja Vu is one example. I channel mine through tarot cards.

I've known a couple of people who seemed to have 'special' powers...I am not one of them...but I'd say that nearly all of those who charge money and speak of communicating with the dead are absolute frauds...in a class with televangelists, fortune-tellers, and the like.
